Chandigarh, December 9, 2013: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Dr. Inderjit Singh Kochar, the father of Senior Correspondent of Indian Express posted at Chandigarh Chitleen Kaur Sethi. Dr. Kochar lost the battle fighting against cancer and breathed his last here in a private hospital.
In a condolence message, the chief minister shared his heart felt sympathies with the members of bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal and Revenue and Public Relations minister of Punjab, Bikram Singh Majithia, today expressed deep shock at the untimely demise of Dr. Inderjit Singh Kochar.
Dr. Kochar died today fighting cancer.
Badal and Majithia have expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to give piece to the departed soul and strength to family to bear this irreparable loss.
